If you are in distress, you can call or text 988 at any time. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your local emergency department.

Undiagnosed conditions or illnesses are those that have not yet been recognized or treated. For example, a person may be experiencing the symptoms of anxiety, depression, or another mental illness, like sadness, worry, changes in behaviour, or trouble coping with daily life, but they haven’t received a name for what they’re going through. As a result, they might not be getting the help, treatment, or support they need. Sometimes this happens because the person hasn’t talked to a doctor or therapist, or because their symptoms are hard to notice or are misunderstood by others.
