In Quebec, the Ministry of Health and Social Services (Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux) shares responsibilities with health and social service institutions across 18 health regions. According to local service providers, there is a wide variety of organizations that work with people transitioning away from the criminal justice system, though most do not specialize in this area.
