A 2022 Canadian Alliance of Student Associations study found that 75 per cent of all post-secondary students report negative mental health experiences, and more than 25 per cent rate their mental health as poor. Yet gender plays a significant role in how they navigate mental health, with men experiencing mental health issues differently than women and often seeking help less often. Backed by emerging research in men’s mental health and the National Standard for Mental Health and Well-Being for Post-Secondary Students (the Standard), this webinar explores men’s mental health in the post-secondary environment and features a panel of students and sector professionals discussing mental health literacy, stigma reduction, and life promotion.
