The Prism of Society

Societal Issues

Identity is complex. It’s layer upon layer of lived experience; informed by our vast and varied make-up.

What is the issue?

Societal issues shape how we experience and access mental health support. Whether it’s the barriers built by systemic racism, the weight of poverty, the limits imposed by stigma, or the lasting impact of injustice, these forces create real and often unequal challenges. By examining how these pressures affect mental well-being, we aim to expose the root causes and explore solutions that create more equitable conditions for mental health, for everyone.

What are we doing?
